Two Men and a Truck have countlessly proven they will go above and beyond to deliver cheer to children’s hospitals and Veterans medical centers. But last week, Cheeriodicals had four men and two trucks join forces to cheer up Veterans across Florida.

On February 20, Two Men and a Truck Orlando and Two Men and a Truck Tampa came together to support Cheeriodicals and help deliver 912 boxes to Veterans at Orlando VA Medical Center, James Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, and Bay Pines VA Health Care System in St. Petersburg.

The gift boxes were assembled by a corporate team the day prior where Two Men picked up the 114 shipping boxes each weighing over 70 pounds filled with Cheeriodicals for Veterans. Two Men Tampa drove over an hour to pick up boxes for delivery to Tampa VA and Bay Pines VA and Two Men Orlando delivered to the Orlando VA.

The two franchises worked together to load all of the boxes in their trucks in record time. The next day each Two Men truck and crew showed up to their location on time and ready to deliver. Two Men Orlando arrived in the early morning to unload the boxes and help deliver cheer to the men and women at the Orlando VA domiciliary. Two hours later, Two Men Tampa arrived at the Tampa VA to unload and deliver boxes and then drove an additional 45 minutes to the Bay Pines VA to unload and personally deliver cheer-up boxes there.

“This was definitely an experience I will never forget. There are quite a few people in my family who are veterans so it is something I hold close in my heart. Getting to see the smiles on their faces while delivering the boxes was truly something special! Knowing that they have been through so much but continue to live their lives with nothing but strength and happiness is definitely inspiring,” said Marissa Ward, Move Coordinator for Two Men and a Truck Tampa. “We get to help people every day but this was an extra special move for us. This experience is definitely something that will stick with me and with Two Men and a Truck Tampa! Thank you for letting us be a part of this incredible day!”
