In our first few years, we focused solely on events for Children’s Hospitals. We worked closely with hospitals to understand their patient demographics and curated boxes for each age group. These bright green boxes of cheer are stuffed (by your team) with toys and surprises, all designed to make a child’s hospital stay just a little easier. From there, we expanded to Veterans’ boxes—packing duffle bags with everything a man or woman who put their life on the line for our country might want while staying at a VA hospital or visiting an outpatient clinic. Today, our events include building backpacks filled with school supplies for under-resourced schools, care bags for frontline hospital staff, and many more kits designed to meet real community needs.
