Testimonials
…Completed all the boxes and had so much fun! Great team building but more importantly, everyone was so happy to be helping people in need. It was like preparing for Christmas in the room. Our team was so excited! The boxes held a lot of cool goodies! Thank you Gary and Ansley for the opportunity to help! It was a privilege and a true pleasure.
Our large pharmaceutical company worked with Cheeriodicals to assemble play kits (in advance of the holidays) for pediatric oncology patients staying in a local hospital. We found the Cheeriodicals team to be very helpful and quick to respond; and ended up having dozens of our employees take part in a Zoom assembly meeting (with family members welcome to join). Many pictures were taken and shared; and it was a joy to deliver our packages to one of the doctors who worked with this patient population. We received many positive comments about the experience; and our team ended up working with Cheeriodicals on a subsequent project.
I have loved watching Cheeriodicals grow and expand since we 1st worked together and am thrilled you have a virtual offering. It sounds wonderful and I wish you the best with it … and with all you do!…
…I do hope we have the opportunity to work with Cheeriodicals again…
Thank you to you and your colleagues for such a memorable and impactful experience. I will never forget my time with sweet little [child’s name] and the mustache she put on my face – nor the smile she put on my heart! I will drop you a call to catch up more and discuss future opportunities, but in the interim please know what a difference you make.
When we were searching for a Humanitarian Event for a team building opportunity, it didn’t take us long to fall in love with Cheeriodicals and their mission.
From the moment I watched the Cheeriodicals video explaining exactly what they do, why they do it, and the huge impact that they have on the lives of so many-I was sold!
Thank you so much for everything you did for this event. It was WONDERFUL! I have had nothing but positive feedback. It’s been a pleasure to work with you, and I hope we can work together again in the future.
Cheeriodicals was truly a memorable team building experience! The Cheeriodicals Team was a pleasure to work with and the event was a rewarding and fun way for us to deliver some cheer to children at Advocate Children’s Hospital.
We found Cheeriodicals to be a wonderful organization and a unique way to engage our leadership team with an opportunity to give back in our local community. Gary and team were true professionals offering a well-organized event. Our team thoroughly enjoyed building the boxes of cheer, and were touched by the gratitude that exudes from the recipients
A few years back I was looking for a “give back” program for a client and came across Cheeriodicals. They had a VA program which fit right in with a group that we wanted to recognize. We were able to get the entire team involved and then have a smaller group deliver them to the Vet’s. This was very emotional as well as rewarding for everyone involved. It was an amazing experience so much so that I recommended the experience for another client. We just got done with that event and it was just as awesome. The Cheeriodicals team does the heavy lifting and really brings the Cheer in Cheeriodicals! Just watch a video on this great program and you too will get the warm fuzzies and want to find a way to get them in on your next event. Until next time –
We hired Cheeriodicals for two conference and both were a resounding success. The events really checked all the boxes – we incorporated teambuilding, we were able to include a competitive aspect to it and of course there’s the feel-good piece of it. Those who were able to deliver the boxes were extremely touched by the experience. Working with the Cheeriodicals team was easy and they were open to ideas to tailor the event to our specific needs.
Our event with Cheeriodicals was an extremely heartwarming day. The team became deeply engaged in crafting and filling the gift boxes for the children in the hospital and the influence on engagement was remarkable. The Cheeriodicals team provided all the tools, supplies and support to make this occasion a team event that our group of leaders will remember for a lifetime.
Thank you, Cheeriodicals Team, for your dedication to providing a truly impactful occasion.
We chose to work with Cheeriodicals because we like their concept and believe it is a perfect way to brighten the mood of the children and their families. Each year, our employees participate in a team-building exercise that makes a difference in the community. This year, our team of 400 personnel were proud to use corporate team building with Cheeriodicals to bring a day of joy to children struggling with medical issues at New Orleans Children’s.
Our firm has done Cheeriodicals twice. Both times were amazing as they gave our reps a chance to spread some cheer, but doing the teambuilding exercise before the event got the whole agency involved in this special event. It allowed all of us to feel connected to the kids we served!
Smiles are contagious, and the permanent memory of bringing one to a sick child’s face will forever be with us. Cheeriodicals helped our organization throught corporate team building bring a little joy to those in our Columbus community that needed it the most. We might have benefited from the event emotionally more than those that received the gift boxes.
The Cheeriodicals team come in and everything was taken care of from unloading the trucks to organizing the boxes. Our patients and their parents love the unique Cheeriodicals boxes filled with wonderful things to make their stay better. Thanks for doing such a great job for Children’s Hospitals.
The response from the MDP group about this experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The humility and kindness an event like this brings out in people is remarkable – it’s the true work of leaders. Thank you and your team for such a successful event. We look forward to working with you in the future!

We chose to partner with Cheeriodicals and LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in December 2013. We felt the team building activity and delivering gifts for the children would be a great way to kick off our Holiday Season. What we received in return was much more than we imagined. Seeing the eyes of the children light up when they opened their new green box was priceless, and to know that you provided a few more moments of happiness to the children in the midst of their hospital stay was a great gift to our associates
I have been working here since March [2016] and am the first Child Life Specialist the NICU has had. Shortly after I started we had a visit from [WWT and] Cheeriodicals. At the time all 70ish (not sure what our census was at the time) received a parent box for either preemies or infants. The parents loved them! I quickly went room to room with a cart to drop them off and later heard from nurses how wonderful the boxes were. When a family was present and I got to hand them the box they were often surprised.
The thing about an ICU setting is you never know why a new face is walking through your door. Carrying in that big green box became such a catalyst to meet some wonderful families in need of Child Life services.
You see, starting out as 1 specialist in a unit as large as ours I had to start small so I was missing a lot of families. Making sure families got their box not only supported them but further supported me in my confidence to introduce services and meet these amazing families and further prioritize and develop Child Life services in our NICU. So all of this is simply to say thank you! Thank you for your bright green boxes that have made so many parents feel supported and have been a great conversation starter that has lead to furthering Child Life services. From this last visit I still have a few boxes and when new families come I continue to hand them out.
Thanks for helping us bring an amazing day of SMILES to the “Most important house in Alabama” – The Ronald McDonald House. We loved working with your team.
Happiness can heal – it accelerates a family’s fight against childhood cancer and other diseases so we’re thrilled to partner with Cheeriodicals to bring joy to Fort Lauderdale families.
We wanted to share the tremendous satisfaction from participating in this incredible day. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children, parents and hospital staff in Atlanta was something none of us will ever forget.
Siemens Healthcare works every day to develop sophisticated technologies that help doctors effectively diagnose and treat patients. This event was a special opportunity for us to bring smiles to the faces of these young patients.
It was a pleasure to work with Cheeriodicals for our team building events. The events were fun, engaging and provided a quality product that we were proud to share and provide to our chosen charities.
I was deeply touched and moved by all the kids at the hospital and Cheeriodicals made it so easy for us to make such a big impact not only on our organization but on our whole community. It was refreshing to work with such great people.
“Overall, it was outstanding! I think New York Presybterian Children’s was the right choice for the big green boxes of cheer. Cheeriodicals did an amazing job with the team-building Wednesday evening setting context for the purpose – and as well walking us through our first distribution on Thursday. Sometimes, it’s just the small things that have a major impact. Gift giving always feels good…especially at a Children’s hospital. Many thanks again for helping us bring Cheer to patients in the New York area. I look forward to our continued partnership.
“We chose to sponsor this event because of the impact it has in children’s lives in Alabama. The Cheeriodicals provide a much needed smile, a break from challenges the children and their families face. While our associates take time throughout the year to give back to local organizations, as part of our Share the Good community service focus this week, more than 125 of our local associates had the opportunity to be involved in a team building activity, packaging and delivering the Cheeriodicals while also having fun as a team.”
We had such an amazing event working with the Cheeriodicals Team in Orlando. Our team gained so much inspiration as they assembled the Cheeriodicals knowing that each Big Green Box of Cheer would bring a smile to a child in the hospital. We were all emotionally touched by the impact of all the emails, social media posts, and more from the families following the deliveries to 6 hospitals nationwide.
Thanks Cheeriodicals for helping our team come together to change lives in our corporate market, Washington, DC. Our team of 50+ worked so hard to assemble the Cheeriodicals and the joy from that work was everlasting. Our delivery to Children’s National Medical Center and the reaction by the children was as good as it gets. Team building can change lives!
In December 2014, our executive leadership team had the opportunity to deliver 130 green Cheeriodicals boxes to patients at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. We chose to partner with Cheeriodicals because it provided both team building for our associates and more importantly a much-needed smile and a break from challenges for the children and families of Le Bonheur. This is the second year that our executive leaders and local associates have had the opportunity to partner with Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital by packaging and delivering the Cheeriodicals to patients. Making life better for others is at the core of what we set out to achieve each and every day. Our partnership with Cheeriodicals allowed us to do it in a unique and meaningful way.

How long do events last?
It depends on the number of team members and the number of gift boxes your team builds but in most cases the “Cheeriodicals Assembly” event at your meeting location lasts an hour and the “Cheeriodicals Delivery” event at the hospital or Ronald McDonald House lasts an hour. These events can be held the same day or different days.
How many people do we need to hold an event?
We have facilitated events with as few as 5 people and as many as 1,500. There really is no ideal group size and because our system is so well organized, the only limiting factor for a corporate team’s size is the actual meeting space.
Is there a minimum number of boxes we need to assemble?
Our goal is always to assemble and deliver enough boxes for every child in a hospital or Ronald McDonald House or to the majority of Veterans in a VA Medical Center. The minimum number of boxes we can help your team assemble is 80 because of how the age groups are divided. If a hospital has 300 inpatient pediatric beds, we want to build and deliver at least that many gift boxes. We have had teams build enough for 6 hospitals at one time so there’s really no limit to the number your team can build!
How do the completed boxes get to the hospital?
Two Men and a Truck, a national moving company, donates their time to the hospital/facility by picking up and delivering the assembled Cheeriodicals from the team building event location to the hospital/facility.
How many people can visit a hospital and make a delivery?
In most cases children's hospitals allow 4-8 people from your team to distribute Cheeriodicals to their patients. Some hospitals allow room-to-room deliveries while others allow children to leave their rooms to pick up the boxes in a common area or playroom. VA Medical Centers typically allow 12-15 people from your team to distribute Cheeriodicals room-to-room to their patients.
Is our team allowed to take photos of patients with their boxes?
In most children's hospitals and VA Medical Centers photography is allowed by a dedicated photographer with a pre-signed photo consent from a parent or Veteran. We work with the hospital PR and medical staff to handle getting those photo releases signed. Generally smartphone pictures are not allowed and we always defer to hospital photographers to take photos when available.
