‘Tis the season of giving!  Now is the perfect time for giving and spreading cheer.  As many teams gear up for their year-end celebrations, consider incorporating an activity that not only fosters camaraderie within the team but also leaves a positive impact on the community. 1. Customized Trivia Game

Have you ever participated in a trivia game at one of our Cheeriodicals events? It’s an exciting experience as all participants engage in friendly competition within teams to answer trivia questions submitted by you about your company, as well as questions about Cheeriodicals.   During the holiday season, we add an extra layer of festive cheer by incorporating fun-themed questions about classic holiday movies, traditions, music, and more.

 

2. Festive Dress Day

In 2023, a corporate team united in their quirky holiday sweaters while they packed uplifting Cheeriodicals care boxes for hospitalized children and their families staying at a local Ronald McDonald House.


An excellent way to infuse festive vibes into your Cheeriodicals event is by establishing a dress-up them! Encourage your team to show up in their finest ugly sweaters or don their quirkiest holiday hats for the occasion. The day can be capped off with a friendly vote to determine who embodies the holiday spirit the most!

 

3. Bright Green Boxes of Cheer

We love our festive green Cheeriodicals boxes! They are the ideal cheer-up gift for hospitalized children throughout the year, and particularly heartwarming around the holiday season. We happily extend the green box option to our other give-back events during the holidays, including those that traditionally use a tote bag or duffel bag (such as our veterans and hospital heroes events). These boxes serve as a vivid reminder that the community deeply cares about them.

 

4. Holiday Designed Note Cards

Each Cheeriodicals kit comes complete with a personalized handwritten note card, a thoughtful touch from the corporate team member who assembled the kit. This element carries profound significance for recipients, often becoming a cherished highlight of the gift. 5. Hand Drawn Holiday Puzzles and Messages

Puzzles are a great way to keep hospital patients entertained during their stay.  During the holidays, teams write inspiring messages and themed pictures for the recipients.

 

Hospital stays can often feel long and mundane. To alleviate this, we take joy in incorporating engaging crafts and activities into our Cheeriodicals kits, providing patients with a means to stay occupied. One particularly special activity is the inclusion of a customized puzzle. This isn’t your average puzzle – it’s a thoughtful creation designed by one of our team building participants.

In this unique process, each corporate participant has the opportunity to design a puzzle tailored for the recipient of the Cheeriodicals kit. These puzzles, filled with personal messages and designs, can be sent to any of our recipients, offering a delightful way to keep them actively engaged while in the hospital. The team building participant takes the time to craft their puzzle, perhaps adding an encouraging holiday message, disassembles it, and places the pieces into a labeled gift bag included in the Cheeriodicals kit. Upon receiving the Cheeriodicals kit and the puzzle, the patient can then reassemble the puzzle to reveal the holiday message!
