Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
The month of September honors the children who are currently battling a cancerous disease or children who have overcome it. Many businesses, families, and individuals honor this month by wearing gold, donating money, holding fundraisers, and much more. September is the perfect time to team up to raise awareness and honor the children that are going through or have battled the fight with pediatric cancer.
Many corporate companies come together during the month of September looking to giveback in their local communities. With it being Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, it is the perfect time to show the pediatric cancer patients that the community cares about them with cheer up kits!

3) Games

During the event, the participants follow instructions on how to put together the perfect box. They see first hand the amazing toys and other items that are included. Each participant gets to write a handwritten note to the child that would be receiving the Cheeriodical box. This handwritten note is one of the most special parts of the activity as the participant has the opportunity to brighten a child’s day with their own words.
Once the event is completed, a small group from your team would have the opportunity to attend the delivery of the Children’s Cheeriodicals kits to the hospital. In many situations, your team would be able to hand deliver the boxes to the pediatric patients.
